I'm pretty excited about the release if the DVD, I am really looking forward to hearing Kuchar's commentary and screeening the other two films that will be included.

My opinion is the only one that actually matters.

well, it's out and it's pretty funny, in a moronic way...like a poor Bronx cousin to Kenneth Angers more cult driven hollywood films

Craven Shluck is amazing!!! i'm wondering if Other Cinema will be releasing Hold Me While I'm Naked and Scorpio Rising. Other Cinema struck me kind of like a mix between Something Weird Video and Criterion, hopefully they'll release all of Kuchar's films. I cannot wait to see others.

well hopefully it'll come out sooner or later. i can only find bootlegs, but i'm skeptical. i found another collection of his films on ebay, its on there off and on. i still have my fingers crossed.

Colour Me Lurid was released in the UK by the BFI about 15 years ago on VHS
It is a compilation of:

Hold Me While I'm Naked
The Mongreloid
Forever and Always
A Reason To Live (a CLASSIC!!)
and the uncredited
I An Actress

I think that a good series of compilations of the Kuchars' work is WAY overdue
