Tears came to my eyes at the end.

I just saw this movie for the first time today and I loved it. How refreshing to see two people love each other just for who they are. You don't have to have sex to love each other and this was such a beautiful relationship. Please let's have more films like this.

Tears came to my eyes at the end, too. There are so much feelings at the end, is really great!!

I was so glad that the story went the way it did. It would have been really sad if they would have had a sexual relationship and then we had to accept that as a reasonable thing. I liked the idea of a mentor/kindred spirit much better. Plus the love and the relationship is one that is hard to come by. I am glad I got to watch it.

same here! their friendship was beautiful and so sweet. i dunno why but at the end where jennifer and randy are laying on the grave and she looks at him then looks away but he carries on staring at her, i loved that moment. awesome film.

This movie was sooo good I just got done watching it and..... I cried. This is such a touching movie. It makes me wish that I had a friendship as good as theirs. You can just see and feel the love. Man this movie got to me. So great.

Same here, I don't like it when they always feel the need to throw sex into it in order to take the characters relationship to the next level. For crying out loud, not every relationship leads to sex!!!

Ashmi any question

I thought the same thing as everyone in this thread. This movie hit hard for me because it makes me think of how when I was younger how much I wished for someone to just believe in me. How much I needed a good friend and someone to help me.

I too am so glad that it turned out the way it did and didn't go the typical Hollywood movie route to make them have sex. It's refreshing to see a positive genuine friendship.

It's a beautiful thing.

Just heard of it now because Leelee is in it... And by what you just said, sounds like you need to watch "Leaving Las Vegas" -- even though alcoholism and sex/prostitution are obvious elements of that story, it's really about LONELINESS. And unconditional, accepting LOVE.

Me too, from about the half way point I kind of had a sneaky feeling R was going to die at the end and I didn't think it would get to me as much as it did. Wow was I surprised. I was crying!! Such a touching movie. I wish the DVD had more special features though.
