Music too loud?

I found the music on the soundtrack was so loud at times it was difficult to hear the dialogue! Did anyone else have this problem? Could it be a defect with the DVD or was the music that loud in the original TV movie?

I don't think I want to go to the pictures. Oh?Why not? I've seen everything worth seeing.

I watched it on TV so I really couldn't help you. But I am considering buying this movie after I watch it a few more times for free on cable.
