Mega Man 2 had some of the best video game music ever made. However, the title to Mega Man 3 is definitely on par, if not even better. However, after the title, Mega Man 3 just doesn't match up.
The title themes got kinda short after number 3. MM2 and 3 are definitely the best titles. Ending themes too.

I disagree, I like the dr. wily music in part 3 better than dr wily in part 2, overall 2 is the better game though.

I feel the same way. A lot of hard work went into the music for MM1-3. After that the quality gets less and less, but there are a few songs in the later games that just plain rock.

Did you also download the remastered version of the soundtrack? If not, you'd better get on that because I guarantee you, you'll poop your pants. There's also one for Megaman 1-6 (actually, two. One is a rock version and one is a techno version. Rock version is waaaay better). You can get both of them on Amazon.com. They're sweeeeet.

^_^ Thanks man. I love that game. I only wish the remake: Maverick Hunter X was a bit more popular. I wanted the X series to be revived and go back to it's roots. But alas, they just had to make it a PSP game...

I loved X3. All those SNES games were top-notch. Like you said, the control was pretty much mastered by the development team. So smooth. And I loved the ability to dash straight up in X3. I hope one day Capcom desides to make some downloadable SNES versions of MMX instead of only focusing on the new 8-Bit ones like MM9 and MM10.

I assume you're referring to the Maverick Hunter X movie: The day of Sigma. Yeah, pretty awesome. Makes me wish they gave the MMX series it's own anime.
