Question about Cover/Box Art

One of the character's images is obviously taken from Arnold from PREDATOR.

Can anybody tell me the extra movie/actor/image the other character is coming from? Please don't vaguely say, "First Blood." I'm looking for the extra picture that it was based on.

in the original contra, it's Billy from Predator. in the game though, Lance looks like Rambo

I was actually thinking that! He looks like Billy when he spots something in the trees and Arnold confronts him about it just before Hawkins died.

for me it was always Arnie from Predator, and Sly as Rambo.

It's really a shame that they never did a live-action film when both were in their prime, it would have been amazing on the level of the first Predator and First Blood films.

Now in addition to the both of them being too old, it would flat out suck like every other action film nowadays ruined with CG, PG-13 rating, and PC-sim.

Can't top 80's action films or even match them.

Try not to take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.

Everybody here is off by quite a bit. Both characters on the NES cover art are based on Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2 different poses, from the movie Predator. Although yes, Lance has more of a Billy (Sonny Landham) skin tone and hairstyle, the pose is a dead ringer of Arnold.
