Stereotyping every woman

I think this is the one where he said, "You'll never find a woman who likes Seinfeld and Wu-Tang!" (either its this HBO special or Never Scared) and thats simply NOT true! That was the only thing I didn't like about it. He says that no one person is just ONE thing, then how could say that. The entire premise of that joke is that you're not going to find a culturally diverse (we assume) black woman thats into a multitude of interests. Either she likes rap and r&b or she likes alternative music, as if there is an in-between! Its funny, because I do like Seinfeld and Wu-Tang. I grew up on both!

I course it's stereotyping. What comedian doesn't stereotype or generalize something or someone.

i was a little annoyed by it and its my opinion.

actually, i should correct that. he didn't actually say "woman", he said that you won't find ANYONE that likes the Wu and Seinfeld.

and simply because there are comedians that stereotype and generalize doesn't mean people have to necessarily agree with it or simply accept it.
