2027 is only 11 years away

When I first saw this around 2007 - 2027 seemed like a lifetime away - but now it seems quite close. Although I very much doubt all women will become infertile there is a possibility that World economies could go through a very bad time.

This is because when fracking in the USA and other countries starts to decline the World price of oil could shoot up causing recessions and widespread unrest.

Alo the Islamic state could still be very active planting terrorists bombs or sending out suicide bombers to which ever country it feels like harming.

So it could be that certain aspects of the film could be very close to what we'll experience with run down trains and buses - a rich elite - immigrants kept in inhuman enclosures - a paranoid government and society and hybrid cars running off cooking oil.

However no one can really predict the future - but this excellent film does present one frightening scenario.
