One thing I found unrealistic in this movie
Is that all the soldiers have no short term memory capacity.
A god damn miracle just happened where people were on their knees praying and 5 seconds later, they were all like "Whelp, I guess that's over. Let's all get back to the meaningless fighting and pretend the baby never existed." Not single one of them thought to themselves that maybe protecting the future of all of humanity is more important than shooting random people in the face.
Realistically, some of the soldiers should've immediately given up whatever they were doing and formed a shield of defense around the baby until it gets to safety from the war zone at least. The single shred of hope for humanity should supersede any order they were given. It's not like they have much loyalty to the crappy government or the rebels.
