How did the Fishes...(spoiler alert)

Minor, but sorta not so minor point that I am reminded of each time I re-watch this one (and I like it a lot). Obviously calling for enlightened speculation here, but how did the Fishes find Theo, Kee & Miriam at Jasper's place, after the trio escaped from the safe house?

Our heroes drive away in the car *and* had disabled the other running vehicles at the safe house. Figuring, what, at least a ten- or fifteen-minute lead -- if not quite a bit more -- we can't imagine that the Fishes managed to catch up and see them duck in to Jasper's hidden compound. Nor, most likely, were they lucky enough to even follow the same road, unless all this was going on so far out in the country that there is only, like, one road going through the area...sure, that's possible, but in which case Jasper's place and the safe house happen to be in the same area of the entire country, along the same road...wotta coincidence...

So, perhaps, tracking device in the car? Maybe in all the Fishes' cars? Could that group have had that kind of tech? Flick *did* take place in 2027, so maybe, right?

Again, not a real big deal, but wondering if anyone else ever thought about it.

I believe in the deleted scenes it shows that they had been tracking Theo for quite some time. Including whenever he would go to the cabin.

Ah, well then. Perhaps a little jumpy in the theatrical release, but that explanation (and the Fishes' activity) *does* make sense. Thanks for the heads-up!

There is a scene early in the film where Theo is riding the bus -- pay attention closely and you can see one of the Fishes, Ian, amongst the passengers.

They had been following Theo for weeks. If you notice, in the scene where Theo is on the train and the Omegas are throwing sh-t at it, you can see one of the Fishes (the Indian guy with the glasses) sitting behind him. They knew he frequently went to Jasper's house, so they figured to look there first.

Theo could have slapped Jasper around a bit and 'tied' him to a chair to make the Fishes believe he went to him to take his other car [and some pot], then Japser's plan to mislead the Fishes might have worked.

This is correct, and in the scene where they confront and kill Jasper outside the house, one of them remarks that they knew he'd been to the house a few weeks prior.
