*spoilers*Amazing Film, but loose ends I would like explained.

1) What happened to Miriam? She gets taken of the bus and that is it, we never see her again. I was not to sure about this part, are we told what happens to her?

2) Theo has a strange affinity with Animals, particularly dogs, which we see throughout the movie. I thought it would be something special revealed at the end but nothing seems to become of it and he dies. What was that about? Imagery of some-sort?

Apart from this, I think the rest of the movie is perfect. It executes the "Show don't tell" concept perfectly, which many movies fail to do by either telling to much or showing to much(without any proper explanation). The movie is a true masterpiece, perhaps these loose ends is probably because I was not paying attention or am to stupid to understand.

Thanks.

It's left ambiguous. But she was a fugitive who was part of a terrorist group and wanted for being involved in the murder of two police officers, so once they find out she's a citizen, she would be taken to prison and put on trial, I'm guessing. If they didn't find out her identity, she would either thrown into the camp or executed (we see a pile of dead bodies as the bus drives away, so I always took that as a hint that she was doomed). And if she was put in the camp, she would probably die when the military bombs the place at the very end of the film.

You know, I'm actually not too sure why this is, and I've seen this film a million times. But I can say, the reason you see so many animals in the film is because humans in this universe have pretty much replaced the void of children with pets. There's pretty much an animal in almost every scene.

Yeah, this is one of the reasons it's my favorite film of all time. And no, you're not stupid. This is definitely the kind of film you can watch over and over and still pick up on stuff you didn't notice before. Like I said, I've seen it a million times and I still do that. What Robb_Stark has already said, but also this:

1: While, I too, think it is a masterpiece I didn't like that bus scene, the guard came in and singled out the two protagonist women, even though only one of them was causing trouble(as a distraction) Why would he be satisfied with leaving without both of them just because there was urine on the floor? Why take none of the other passengers? Why even stop the bus at that point? Felt like artificial tension to me.

Another scene that didn't work for me was when the injured assassin bike riders returned to the farm "against protocol". Everyone is shouting out their lines and yet we are to believe they'd think that nobody heard them, that everything was peachy? Even outside the closed windows they sound like they are speaking right into the face of Theo.

2: I don't think we see him die, at least it is not verified. If he passed out it's possible they could save him on the boat.

Anyways, it IS a fantastic movie, but I recently rewatched it for the third time and I find little annoyances here and there with every viewing.

Yeah, he doesn't die in my version. He only passed out then get on that boat and makes sweet love to all the ladies, impregnating them all.

Look at what the soldiers are doing to the people outside the bus after Miriam is taken off, and you can guess what happened to her.

i liked how the animals were attracted to Theo. May be it says something about his good nature that dogs mostly seemed to like him. Or maybe that's just because I'm a dog person and I think they can see the good in people haha
