larry vs. ren

lol I found it interesting how in this show, they didn't stereotype the african american so much...They made Larry competitive with Ren and ambitious. Nowadays, they would cast an Asian for this role lol. So I liked that they included some diversity and avoided those stereotypes....of course this show takes place in an upper middle class neighborhood though so all the students probably come from well- off families who push them to study and do well. Eileen is a senator, the dad is a lawyer, Tawny's dad is a doctor....so they all come from successful families who motivate them. But like that Larry was just as motivated and wasn't the gangster guy who didn't study.
