Where's Troy Donahue?

I haven't seen this movie for many years and I was wondering where is the late Troy Donahue in this movie? I forgot where he appeared so if there's anyone who knows what character he plays and the name of his character, could they let me know, or help update the cast and credit list? Thanks if you can.

He was the guy who supposedly worked for Dick Clark. He was pushing Tyler to sing the song that the Edd Byrnes character wrote. His hair was so much thinner than when he was young. I almost didn't recognize him. He was only on screen for a couple of minutes.
