who used to narrate Nova?

Like back in the 70s/80s, there was a different voice. I loved that guy's voice. Who was he?

KubricksRube: You're probably thinking of Richard Kiley.

I recently saw a Nova episode from 1975 and it was indeed narrated by Richard Kiley.

They had an assortment of narrators, but mostly Richard Kiley (they spared no expense). In 1977, Season 4, Episode 11, 'The Wolf Equation' was narrated by Robert Redford. It was about controlling the Alaskan wolf population, and the caribou that were eaten by both wolves and mosquitos.

I'll bet it's Don Wescott. He narrated quite a few in the '80s and early '90's, only one of which is listed on IMDB. If you watch Fargo, there's a scene with a TV documentary and that's his voice.

There was also Peter Thomas; I think he was the primary narrator of the show in the late '80's and most of the 90's and maybe into the early 2000s. He was the same guy who narrated the original Forensic Files.

HIS voice I absolutely love!
