DVD season boxed sets

Now THIS wonderful show should be released in season boxed sets. I have picked up individual NOVA episodes on dvd and have some of my favorites (mostly space related) that I taped going back to the late 70's when I bought my first vcr.

What a great thing it would be to own, enjoy and share a complete set of NOVA episodes. But, alas, this probably will never happen as the powers that be won't see enough lucrative potential in such a venture.

How about a large boxed set of "The Best of NOVA"?

thats why i came here, i guess there isnt one.

i wonder why they dont do something like that?
group them in the-best-of categories, i.e. space, nature, etc
even as you said, a best of 10 / 20 years of nova.

how about it nova.

Amazon has a number of these for sale on their web site:

Wish they would offer all of them.

At Barnes&Noble here in New York, you can buy the DVD for some episodes for about $25 each which is a ridiculous price for an 1 hour show. Would be nice if they package some episodes like they do with the American Experience series.

They already have an online video service. Just put 1000 videos on there and take a few coins to let people access it. They could also make a deal with Netflix. What I want is access to ALL episodes in HD, NOT dvd quality which I refuse to pay money for in 2015. And I bet a lot of people are willing to pay some money to watch them. What they do now by putting a few episodes on Netflix and a few more on pbs.org is just not good enough if you want knowledge to be easily accessible for all. They have a huge array of programs - make god damn business. It's a goldmine that requires zero new production and would cost a few millions to make happen while bringing in millions each year.
