I thought they had dubbed in a man's voice that is how beautiful "Monica" looked.
When they do that good a job they should get an Oscar for makeup.
Cute film.

I just caught the movie on HBO right after it started and Monica looked SO familiar that I had to come here to see who it was, lol.... I couldn't believe she was Michael from LOST!! Talk about a BEAUTIFUL man! He really nailed that part!

I never realized how feminine his features were. This was the first film I saw him in, before Matrix and LOST, and I thought he was just a masculine woman at first.

Agreed. For his first few scenes I wasn't sure what gender he/she was then I assumed it was someone who specialised in TV roles and eventually I realised it was an actor doing a really good job.
