I need help here. I'm no noob, I've been playing this game forever now, and every time I reach Mother Brain, her second hyper beam creams me! Now the first time this happened to me I expected the Metroid to come out and kill her, but NO! People say that she is one of the easiest bosses to beat. But I think it has to do with those stupid rings that swarm all over you and those stupid turrets. Both of them are frustrating and I really need some help here.

Try this: Once you have arrived at the brain, shoot a few missiles to get the glass tank to crack, but don't crack it completely. Then go back and refill on energy and missles (it has been years since I have played this but I recall there was a recharge station for both nearby). Then go back to the brain and continue the fight. I don't know if cracking the tank before you recharge is necessary, but it will save you a few missles for when you come back to fight her. This is what I did to beat her; hope it helps you.

shareNo joke. I've played that game through about 30 times I reckon. I didn't know you could lose to Mother Brain unless you really REALLY wanted to for some reason. 4th Best Super Nintendo Game Ever!!!
shareYou must have more than 300 health when she hyper-beam your ass, you should be fine... The game isn't hard, just requires technique...
