Okay, his dad is chinese, his mother is white, yet he is hawian. WTF?

His father was supposed to play a hawaiin.

While the dad is supposed to be Hawaiian, his ancestry is actually Japanese and he was born in Los Angeles.

Also: he was born in Hawaii so he is legally a Hawaiian. Both my parents are Hispanic and I'm a New Yorker...something like that I guess
