Seriously need to adapt first story into feature length film

The first story in this is amazingly powerful. So beautiful. I was moved to tears. Just heartbreaking. I would LOVE to see this story made into a feature-length film so it could reach a bigger audience. If you have some highly respected actress like Vanessa or Judi Dench in the role(s) there's no way it wouldn't receive Oscar nominations. This is a story that needs to be seen by as many people as possible, especially with the ongoing debate over gay marriage and gay rights. Someone seriously needs to look into adapting this. I fully believe it has the ability to change minds and open hearts.

That is exactly what I thought after watching the short film. The first film was so beautiful and heart wrenching. I'd love to see it as a full feature film! Maybe with flashbacks from when they were young and met each other?

Flashbacks like that photograph of them young dressed in suits :-)

I saw this when it first came out, and still cannot watch it again.

I tear up just thing about the story.

My ex and I are both bird women, so hence the tears.

You are so right they really need to make a full length independent movie.
