Well, she was the director AND Ellen's current girlfriend...

Does that mean, excuse me if I'm wrong, that she was present during Ellen and Sharon's sex scene? Although it was acting, wouldn't that hurt? Maybe it's me being old fashioned or something, but I do not think I could watch my girlfriend/boyfriend having sex with someone else regardless of it being a movie. Hmm, what do you guys think? Maybe a turn-on?

I think that being an actor and dating an actor you understand that there are things the person you're dating is going to have to do, even if you don't like it. And you just have to understand it's acting, not real life, so she shouldn't have been hurt or anything.

If it weren't that way then it would be risky to date an actor, knowing they will probably get to do kissing scenes and more.

I read somewhere that Ellen was reluctant to do this scene and it was Anne Heche who persuaded her to do it.

actually Anne begged her to do the scene. Ellen didn't want to do it but Anne talked her into it. I just heard that like yesterday somewhere!

You never know. They might of tried a threesome as well just to feel more comfortable with each other. People do it.
