No mention of the B word

Sharon's character says to Ellen's character, something along the lines of "I though I'd been with all the men I had to, now we need one to get pregnant." Implying that she had been with men in the past. But then she says when they're waiting at the sperm centre "...A lesbian couple like us" or something. They're in a same-sex female relationship, but they could have used the word bisexual, it seems as if loads of movies just avoid it. Bisexual people in films are so under represented.
