Does anyone else find Alice one of the least sympathetic characters in all of cinema? If I hadn't seen so many of Ozon's other films, I would easily accuse him of being a stereotypically gay woman-hater.

Yes. I despised her parasitical worthlessness so thoroughly it caused me to also despise the film.

She was a psychopath. I kept thinking, "This is all her fault.". Didn't like her one bit.

who says a female character has to be at all likeable or sympathetic? Doesnt mean a male writer or director etc is gay, or a woman-hater. Get over your sexist bullcrap & grow the F up.
