I met Christopher Titus...

He's an amazing guy. I went to one of his shows, Born With a Defect. Afterwards, he stayed behind to meet all of his fans. He signed autographs and took pictures. I thanked him for the meet and greet and he said "You guys thank me, but I have to thank you. Meeting you is the greatest thing in the world to me." I bough four of his stand-up dvds, all of which he signed. Then I told him that I really loved his show. He said, "That *beep* wouldn't have been cancelled if I hadn't been such a *beep* dumbass." He also told me that his ex-wife, Erin, didn't want him to talk about her in his stand-up routines. She even told the judge during their divorce. The judge said that he'd make Titus stop mentioning her in routines and he wouldn't be allowed to sell anymore of those dvds. However, since he'd lose income, he also wouldn't have to pay her any alimony. She dropped the issue.

I hate that they cancelled that show, and hate more that he seems very regretful for the fans. My dad watched that live when I was very little, when I was older I tracked it down, and now I watch it with my wife and my little kid...Love Titus! It pisses me off that Fox is so petty they refuse to rerelease the series on DVD or BluRay, won't give him the rights to his life to make a project elsewhere, and won't even allow it to stream on Netflix or other platforms...they are trying to bury it...if they just rerelease the show and put it out there on streaming and reruns on FX to test the water, im sure they would realize that there is a big interest and they would make money on it...but they would rather pretend it never existed, and as a result the seasons that were released on DVD are ridiculously expensive, IF YOU CAN FIND THEM...
