Disappointing, considering Pasolini's influence

I had just watched Pasolini's trilogy of "The Decameron", "Canterbury Tales" and "Arabian Nights" via Netflix instant streaming when I noticed that this film was also available for viewing and that Pasolini had co-written the script for it. It also featured some of his stock players from his films (Ninetto Davoli & Franco Citti). His close friend and sometime co-screenwriter, Sergio Citti, directed this film, so I thought it worthwhile to watch this also.

Sorry to say that this one just didn't do it for me. I found it mostly humorless and lacking the quirkiness that Pasolini was noted for. It was also dubbed, which distracted even more and the whole thing just fell flat. I could barely make it through and was glad when it ended.
