They are not girly names. What was the script-writer thinking about? One would be weird, but two... Giving female characters as anmes the surnames of USA presidents, does it have any significance within the context of the film?
sharefrom what I gathered they came from a fairly wealthy, yet disconnected family with a mother that had a flair for the dramatic (friends with famous people including the president, went away to the Caribbean) ... people like that don't want to give their kids mundane names. that's probably why.
