The revolution

I still don't get what exactly the revolution that comes at the end of the series is. It has happened and we see a lot of characters changing from there on... so is that supposed to be the change from teenage days to adulthood? or is it that people are free from all the ghosts from the past that haunted them?

Confusing. But I love this series.

I believe it was something along the lines of having a greater power over those who are in power. (the adults, probably, since, let's face it, there are NO adults in this series, other than that woman who kept bothering Utena over her way of dressing)
But I pretty much think you're closer to the message than I am :) .
