Ok, the ending was great in my opinoin, however, I wasnt sure if them disappearing with Jack right there and waving meant that they would never see eachother again, or they were just going to party elsewhere and would see him the next day? Just confused me and I was wondering if someone could help... Thanks.
shareMy impression was that the magical creatures wanted to be for themselves. It was their event and a very special event and so they disappeared for the rest of the night. Something tells me that they will stay part of Jack's and Cathleen's life for all time.

Of course, though, it would be a really crappy way to say a final "goodbye" to someone. Just wave and disappear like that? I wondered the same thing, myself, when I first watched this movie. But I decided they couldn't have meant goodbye forever.
Besides, life for Jack and Kathleen would be pretty boring if they never saw Leprechauns or Fairies again.

Remember what the Leprechauns told Jack and the Brothers, it was tiring for them to be visible to humans for long periods, of course being Leprechauns they could have been lying and just wanted to slip off for a drop of the hard stuff.

Of course they'll see each other again, remember that Seamus is indebted to Jack for saving his life forever and eternity, or something like that. I took the waiving as kind of a "see you later" and "thank you" for what they did.
shareim pretty sure it was forever and a day.. but its been a while since ive watched the movie. and i think its a see ya later wave at the end. life would be boring with out them.
