Arija Bareikis should have been cast as the lead

Dunst is not pretty and not athletic. Not a good actress either. Bareikis (who was an actual cheerleader in HS and college) definitely would have been the best choice.

I must respectfully disagree with you here. While I agree with you that they could have found a better actress for the lead role, Arija Bareikas was already 34 years old when this movie was made--far too old to play a high school cheerleader.

She had the lead female role in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. The original poster is obsessed with her.
