Any other guys out there love this film?

I watched this again recently for the first time since I was like a senior in high school, and I loved it. I see nothing unmanly at all in loving a film with so many hot ladies.

Loved it as well man. Mean Girls and this!

reply

Yes! The hubs and I don't have that much in common when it comes to movies, but we both love Bring It On and Mean Girls! We will stop and watch them whenever we happen by them on TV.

reply

You don't have to come up with the excuse of the "hot ladies" to enjoy a film about women.

I watched this earlier, mostly becasue my penis told me to

stupid bikinis an belly buttons

I like this movie a lot. I find it much funnier than most typical teen comedies. The dialogue is unique and humorous and delivered with great comic timing by the actors. This movie actually is groundbreaking because I don't think there were very many movies like this (if any) prior to 2000. But there have been a lot of (mostly inferior) copies since. I feel like Pitch Perfect borrowed elements of this movie, and it's the only film similar to Bring It On made since 2000 that I actually love!

Yep, I'm a fella and I rewatched it only recently, and it's still very good.
Funny, some very good one liners, and what's not to like about young ladies in Cheerleader outfits?

reply

I'm a guy and I like it. Good looking ladies, some funny stuff, some good music, fun story.

Not so different from many other great John Hughes-like teen comedies, like 10 Things I Hate About You.

18 year old guy here. Watched it for the first time yesterday and actually loved it, yeah it's kinda cheesy and it isn't masterpiece material but I loved it for what it was and seeing Kirsten as a cheerleader and all the other hot chicks gives it bonus points. 

Certainly. I got really into the girls' angst and rivalry between all the characters. Still got fond memories of the film. Actually, now that it's come back to mind, i'm guna give it a re-watch soon.

Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku were so damn sexy that how can a guy NOT watch this? It's just a shame that we ALL have to get old. They fell off the cliff fast in terms of sex appeal.
