checking into hotel-room charge

I couldn't help but notice (at least ONE scene, maybe more) he pulled out his wallet. Which led me to conclude he was paying for hotel room. Maybe all of it, dunno. Still I had to wonder why IF SHE placed ad, why would guy would be paying for its entire cost? At worst, one would imagine it would be split (especially early on). But in this day & age, I don't suspect a woman PLACING the ad & wanting her "fantasies" filled to stand there complacently & let the man pay (seems sexist AND offensive).

And yes, I GET the thread about our NOT needing to know the fantasy but given how many times it's referenced "unnatural" & add in his concern about "coming" when they finally have normal sex with her on top, I personally suspect anal. But then kept me guessing again, when she said she couldn't really find partners wanting this (which sounds to me like MOST men are eager to try or do this. NOT women--well other than damaged porno-sluts. Have heard it hurts, I can imagine so, NO desire/plans to find out, lol!)...so then I thought maybe not.
Yes, and again, I GET it's besides the point. Still it's brought up enough to lend one to wonder. I find that as deliberate plot device, certainly far from meaningless/insignificant.

But lastly, on the ending!
HUH??!! Yeah, simple enough to conclude the various themes this script is making (about fear, insecurity, NOT taking risks. All as obvious as nose on my face). Still folks, let me assert this, there is NOTHING esoteric there (worse, written by some that it "escapes" American audiences! Really...you want to GO THERE? Because I regularly view a plethora of foreign films, certainly more than my own country & maybe even more than your avg. film goer of their respective homelands. And I'll be the first to profess they often ARE more to my particular tastes (structurally, tonally, culturally & thematically as they vary to ours)---still, that said, this isn't a challenging vehicle or represents high praise.
First step on downward spiral. She declares her impassioned love (going so far to say she wants to spend life & share teeth, or whatever)...basically spoken somewhat out of left field. Consider they were weekly sex buddies & do NOT know each other in any manner beyond this. Those parameters constructed by her (so we are told). But fine, I can go with that, sex in its very nature IS bonding (sooner we accept that biological fact than run from it as kids do now, better society will be). Next we hear his narration closely after. Wonderful, it reveals he feels the SAME. But hold on, not quite yet!!..... NEXT up we're subjected to this crazy "I can read her face" crap so he wimps out (not believing it for a second) and suddenly SIMULTANEOUSLY her "I'll fight for this should he not mirror my feelings" vanishes ON the spot. Nope....no way 2 people are that unbelievably cowardly & misdirected at same time. Just don't buy it (as I do NOT suspect cowardly ppl answer or place sex ads either. And yes, I understand it's HARDER to be brave with our emotions/souls than our bodies, but changes nothing here! I dunno...that scene totally fell flat for me & seemed designed for audience member to say...AWHHHHHH & be sad. Too contrived & manipulative to get me there.
