Wal-Mart

I just bought this at Wal-Mart for 1 whole dollar. Hope I didn't go bankrupt for a bad movie.

LOL!!!

Same here. Just got it today and now watching it on the other monitor here. I like time travel stories...even mediocre ones...grin...

Heh. I actually watched this when it *came out*. It was produced by TNT (or USA?) as an original production series called "movies for guys who like movies". While some of the other ones sucked hard (see "Silent Predators") this one was actually decent enough.

Oh, and the original name is "The Time Shifters", don't know when they switched the name though....

hey - me, too! happened to see it while standing in line, waiting to check out. thought it looked interesting, plus it was only a buck, so i bought it on impulse. just got done watching it earlier tonite & thot it was actually pretty good (for only a dollar, at least!). i wasn't expecting much, so it was a pleasant surprise that i enjoyed it as much as i did.

Today I went to a Walmart here in New Jersey. They didn't have this movie in the dollar movie racks. Guess not all Walmarts have the same inventory.

A better-than-average TV movie

I got my copy yesterday at the Just-A-Buck dollar store around the corner, I'm hooked on those cheap DVDs they have there even though most of the movies are terrible, I can't resist!! This one actually seems to have some decent IMDB reviews, though, so I will give it a shot. I also got a second movie starring Casper Van Dien, "Danger Beneath The Sea." Gee, how much has it gotta suck to be an actor knowing your movies are being sold at the dollar store? Poor Casper.

So that is where it came from. My mom sent this to me while I am in grad school in Scotland.

I should have guessed...

lucky me - i found this one (and another casper von dien dvd: danger beneath the sea) in a dollar store in kingston n.y. - going out of business - cost me 50 cents each. i love a good bargain. :) i've never seen a casper von dien movie that i didn't like, even if they're low budget "B" movies.......

but i agree - poor casper - it must suck to see your movies selling for a dollar a pop.......
