Movie + Show Contradictions etc

Now I've posted this on the tv show board as well, but I wanted to see as many responses as possible so I put it here as well :)

Frankly I think that with a few line cuts or scene cuts from the movie you could re-edit the movie to be in line with the show e.g. Nolita and GW's kid mention, getting rid of LaTrelle talking about going to see Ty's play (since chronologically its highly improbable it could have happened in the series, plus LaVonda pretty much explains about Ty's play...etc)

However the only problem with doing this to make it flow well into the tv show is somehow resolving the whole Brother Boy getaway in the movie when he already escaped in the show.
Now unless they re-release the movie or tv show with a little scene between Dr Eve and Brother Boy along the lines of 'did you really think you could escape Earl?' thus showing that after Brother Boy escapes in the show, he is caught and then sent back to only be rescued in the movie.
But of course this is all speculation. I doubt very highly Logo, the actors, or the DVD creation and distribution company would ever do that, but it would be nice to do something like that to make the movie and show flow together without SO many contradictions.
