I actually OWN the movie on DVD already---but it's been packed away while I live in a temporary apartment while I am back in school for three years. However, i'm watching the series (which is a prequel to the movie) and would like to see the film again afterwards. I don't want to buy it again since I already own it. Is there anywhere I can watch it for free online?

You may be extremely disappointed; the movie was horribly filmed and many parts are just plain stupid and unfunny. The acting in the film is still good, but in comparison to how overall bad the film is, the series is Emmy-worthy.
Plus be prepared for Olivia Newton John to be reduced to the significance of an FM radio (all she does is sing here and there and nothing about Bitsy Mae was developed until the series came along).

No. I've seen the movie before. I saw it originally on a bootleg VHS tape years ago and was completely unimpressed. Then, several years later, a friend wanted to see it, so I bought the DVD -- and LOVED it on the 2nd viewing. Now that I'm done with the series (which leads up to the movie), I want to see "what happens next" -- even though I more or less remember already. I hope there is a sequel at some point. The series really reminded me how much I love the characters.
