hey - i caught this movie on tv and i didnt see the ending..

i want to know, am i right - r the detective n the murderer the same person!?

Toward the beginning, they kind of gave you that idea. But I think both of us have seen too many of those mind-homogenizing movies with mega-twists like that, no?

I won't mention which as that may be spoilers, but you know the type.
