For those who have the DVD, a question--

I saw this program when it was rebroadcast in 1969. I distinctly remember Twain's first lines on the telecast containing the quote: "Chaucer is dead, so is Milton and so is Shakespeare. And I'm not feeling very well myself". Is this on the DVD?

We just watched the DVD, thanks to Netflix, of this 1967 performance. And the line about "Chaucer is dead... etc." does not occur anywhere in it.
