jamie actually is white trash. sure she makes money in hollywood, but she spends all that money on birth control and cheap beer, not to mention her rent for her 10' x 15' trailer.

Well, and of course there's "My Name is Earl", on TV now.
She's hilarious. I crack up just thinking about the episode
where a nervous trooper pulls them over and he threatens to
taze her. She says, "I wish you would taze me", and he does.
While she's twitching on the ground her drunk ex, Earl, and
his brother throw empty beer cans at her head from the back
of the truck. I'm chuckling now just thinking about it.

you're very right... i asked my friends the same question... noone can come up with an anwer but who cares, ill watch her in skimpy trailer trash outfits and that tight tan ass in fish net pants anyday (the mall scene in poor white trash)

Yeah, she's got a smoking hot body and all that, but just look at her face, it's pretty skanky if you ask me. I think she pulls off the 'white trash' role so well, becasue she actually is white trash that just became an actress because of her body/looks/sleeping her way into roles or whatever.

I've noticed this too, but, obviously people seem to find something very "trashy" about her to keep casting her for these roles. Kind of sad for her, but, whatever pays the bills.

Because she is good in these roles? I like Jaime Presley and I don't agree with the poster who said:

I think she is very beautiful and she is good in this particular type of role--it may have something to do with her coming from a small town in the south. Also, the comment about her only getting roles

is really snarky. Jealous much?

Since her bio says she has been working in modeling from a young age and had herself emancipated from her parents when she was 15 (although I don't know the driving force for that action--usually young people who follow that path come from difficult family backgrounds and are trying to distance themselves from negative family interactions stemming from they themselves becoming financially capable and independent at a young age and family members pressing them to share their fortune they have worked hard to attain) I would think she has most likely worked hard to get where she has in life. It doesn't say anything in her IMDB profile but I think I remember a clip on a show where she had a clothing design line she was working on at that time too but that was two or three years ago.

By the way, I am not a young, lustful fan just interested in her because of her looks--I am a 54 year old female who just happens to appreciate she may have worked hard to get where she is and if that means taking the roles she has been stereotyped into by the Hollywood casting machine then so be it. At least it pays the bills until something better comes along. I have always enjoyed watching her in any of her roles and she has great comedic ability.
