As gay directors go ...

There aren't many gay directors working out there today who will do movies that aren't totally in your face pro-gay movies. That's what I like about Steve's work. I like Steve Balderson's style up there with Gus Van Sant. Anyone see similarities there? Gus will do similar projects that aren't toally pro-Gay. I know everyone goes on and on comparing Steve to David Lynch, but I think his style is more like other directors and not at all like Lynch's really. Who else makes movies like this that no one's compared Steve to yet? I'm sure there are other movies and directors closer related to this than that smae old David Lynch.
