I`m not sure that a soundtrack exists...But after the new song for the old melody (questa incantesimo) I think a soundtrack will be released soon...

What you are asking is music portion of opening and closing themes. To best of my knowledge, Incantesimo is available on DVD, at least first 2 seasons, which in my book are the most authentic, while others turn slowly in Soap opera, both with production and development.

Provided the best effort of TV broadcast (stereo) sound available on youtube, suits your quest, you can easily find both opening and closing themes, as we speak. Some with very good sound. If you want better quality then this, then you should buy or rent Incantesimo DVD to get those themes.

Dedicated score for general purpose TV series, I very much doubt there is any practice for TV networks in Italy to release such elaboration for one TV show. Then composer would have to locate all those cues from the show and there is additional work to be done - for this type application, I doubt this very much.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the main theme of Intancesimo is one of the most elegant themes I’ve heard in 90’s on TV. But, I think prospect of being released as full cues/score album is very unrealistic.

I’m 100% sure, there are CDs in Italy with main themes from many popular TV series, so it is also very possible that both themes are available on some ITA compilation.

Since you like Incantesimo theme, then you will also love beautiful piano theme supported with small orchestration in another mini series : Una donna per amico (1998) by Antonio Di Pofi .

I’m sure there are many scenes available, but you can hear different interpretations of the main theme here. Five minutes, so be patient as there are parts with dialogs :

I’m not sure about later seasons, in fact, my late uncle was fan of the early show, specially about passion between Barbara and Thomas, so when I would visit him, we watched the show together. That is how I’ve noticed Incantesimo theme.

Also, the man motive in theme has been so overused in later seasons, that whoever was making music cues for every episode, was either not motivated or bored. Because, there was barely any original structure within the otherwise beautiful theme.

Two years ago, or should I say, two Summers Ago, I was surprised when our TV was showing, I don’t really know which season, but "Tilly was no longer in their house, but living in a new apartment. The sense of production and camera/filters was more related to cheap TV soap opera then anything even close to first seasons. I felt as they are simply making episodes for sake of making new episodes while using the fame name of Incantesimo.
