I saw that the mental "damage" to our Iraq service men and women is much harsher than what happened to the boys in VN.
We should be a shamed of ourselfs for what we are doing in Iraq. Why don't we open up non oil technology and end our dependence on the Middle East?

such technology already exists, but it's large scale development is being slowed down by oil/petrol corporations. many american politicians, even mr W, are oil magnates. why would they give up their gold when they can just murder those 'sand monkeys', right? who cares about those? they don't even believe in our mighty lord!
and, of course, a lot of oil industry workers would have to lose their jobs in the process of an eventual switching to other fuels. murder of foreigners is not as bad as unemployment and revolts in the motherland. plus, there are no electric pick-up trucks and SUVs. the american way is at stake.
