Falling Down ???

First of all, sorry for my english, Im not a native english speaker.
Regarding the scene of the shootings at the end of the movie, the brother of the killed lawyer (the one with suit&tie, shotgun), isnt he exactly like the character of Michael Douglas in Falling Down? Was that made in purpose or is just coincidence. What do you think? Thanks,

I deffinately think it is a refference to Falling Down. Since Michael Douglas is in both movies, it is even more likely that this is the case.

it is indeed a refference to Falling Down, in which michael douglas plays the upset mr. william foster aka D-Fens. Since Michael douglas (co)produced One night at McCool's (check the opening credits) he just thought it might be fun or something i think.

Sure - it was a reference. Still, I think this scene was out of place, and it spoilt the ending for me. Although the final scene with our leather boy managed to compensate! :)

Except that the guy with the suit and the shotgun was the twin brother of the Utah character, who was the criminal boyfriend of Jewel's at the beginning of the movie and ended up dead at the bar.
