If you liked ‚One Night at McCool’s’ then you might also...

...enjoy the lesser known Irish comedy ‚About Adam’ (2000). Essentially the same premise: A chameleon-like X becomes/appears to be what the current partner wants X to be. Just this time X is not a femme fatale (Liv Tyler) but a seemingly perfect guy (Stuart Townsend) seducing his fiancée's whole family –in other words: this is ‘About Adam’.

So while ‘McCool’s’ is told from the male perspective, ‘Adam’ basically takes on the female point of view. It’s not really a chick flick though. For us guys there is a 20-year old Kate Hudson (as easy on the eye as it gets) and a charming, scene stealing Frances O'Connor. Might be interesting to watch both movies in one evening.

I agree. Both movies are good. I can't think of any other movies that show more than one perspective of the plot. I hope there are more like that out there though.

Presenting different perspectives of the same event(s) is a storytelling device sometimes used in the Crime & Mystery genre. Hercule Poirot stories come to mind (and their respective film adaptations).

its not really the same type of movie, but "he loves me, he loves me not" with audrey toutou (sp?) is a really good movie that shows the story through the perspective of the male and female characters.

...like the other movie where Matt Dillon is battling other guys for the same girl: "There's Something About Mary" (1998). Another movie which predates this one, where several guys fall for the same Femme Fatale, is "Whipped" (2000).

I'm sorry to say that I lowered my vote for this movie from 8 to 6 (I still would recommend it) as I now know how he must have felt - yes it happened to me too, but I can see how it looks funny to other people.
And yeah, Liv is also HOT!
