Does this happen to anyone else? (PS players)

I have MK Trilogy for Playstation. Sometimes I play it on the Playstation, other times I play it on the Playstation 2. When I play on the Playstation, everything works out fine (for the most part) meaning no bugs/glitches of any kind.

When I play on Playstation 2, some wierd things happen.

Here's what they are (only when played on Playstation 2):

1. When I defeat Shao Kahn in 1 player mode or I beat 8 Player Kombat, it's supposed to take me to the screen where I can select one of the many lost treasures of Shao Kahn as my reward. Instead, the screen just turns black and locks up (freezes). All I hear is the prologue music.

2. When I turn off the Buy-In screen (where the loser presses start to continue), after the fight is over, the game just locks up. When the Buy-In screen is on, this never happens.

This happened with the first copy of MK Trilogy I had. Then something happened to that disc and I bought a replacement. Same exact bugs/glitches occurred on the second copy I bought.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

A Playstation 3 played/tested it on the system? If so, does it work or does it still freeze in the same areas as it did on the PS2? From what I hear, MKT on PS3 has the same problems as it had on PS2. So in summary, it works fine for versus play or solo play. Just don't expect a treasure bonus after beating the game and never let the continue timer get to zero.
