Read some other topics on this board, I describe how to manipulate the cpu in some of them.

I finally beat this freakin game. It took a long time, but I kind of found glitches in some characters but had to battle fairly for hours getting my butt kicked back and forth before I finally won.

Sub Zero was very hard, so was Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Kung Lao, Scorpion and basically everyone else.

Oh the gameboy version is a walk in the park compared with the Arcade version (specially Kintaro). But it's a matter of strategy.

the difficulty is just ridiculous, you have to go online to find out how to manipulate the CPU.

this game is near impossible to win. i use to play it on the arcade cabinet and played over and over and had the toughest time on kitana and mileena cause they played hella cheap. kintaro and shao kahn are ridiculously impossible. liu kang is the cheapest to use against the cpu but still impossible

I'm with you guys. I absolutely HATED fighting against Kintaro and Sho Kahn. They fight cheap, and they are good at it. There are many times I get creamed before I can even make a single move. I like to play as Johnny Cage, but it seems like you have better odds of defeating Kintaro and Sho Kahn with either Scorpion or Sub-Zero because of their long-range attacks. These last 2 fights were so hard and fought so cheaply that you just lose it with this game, because you're getting easily defeated like it's so simple on their part.

I remembered back in the day when this Arcade game was at our local bowling alley, the game players would be so frustrated with the game's final two battles and they got sucked so much into having to beat it, gammers would literally put like $20 worth of quarters into the machine and running to the coin machine during the countdown just to make sure they beat both Kintaro and Kahn. Seeing gammers being suckered so much into having to beat those two characters, I'm telling you Midway and anyone who had those Arcade games up for public playing had to of made a fortune on it. Gammers were just throwing sacks of quarters into beating those last two battles. I played a few times and didn't make it that far, so I kept my Mortal Kombat II game play with the Genesis.
