Or simply choose Kitana and always keep tapping backwards, so that she constantly "staggers" backwards. As soon as Kintaro comes close or does his stomp, simply hit Y and Kitana will do her Fan Wave, trapping Kintaro. Then you can freely do a roundhouse/uppercut, but for best damage go for a jump kick + aerial Fan Throw.

I tried it, but when he does the fireball, this method is useless... You concentrate on the "tapping", and always get hit by the projectile.

You should go for the Fan Wave, only when he is walking towards you. In this case, you can easily trap him. In other cases (fireball, stomp move, etc.), you should jump back and forth and kick him. But if he's not doing any move, do NOT jumpkick him, because he blocks it and throws you.
That's the best method i could come up with, it's still needs your reflexes, and it largely depends on your skills, but it's fun! Best fighting game ever!

I'm playing it on DosBox.

Oh dear God, I'll just ctrl+V what I wrote from the other thread...

It's very easy to beat Kintaro by just getting pretty close (it's got to be just the right distance) and then jump kicking him so that it connects and if he tries to uppercut you he'll miss. Just keep jump kicking him the whole match and you can get a double flawless fairly easily. Jax seems to be the best for this. I will say though, it might be a little harder on versions other than the arcade version since the frame rate is slightly different and harder to judge.

I've always had it super hard on both Kintaro and Kahn. I like Johnny Cage, but being serious to beat this game the few rare times I did, I chose either Scorpion and Sub-Zero because of their long-range attacks and rapidly repeating either the freeze attacks or the spear attack, and fight cheap with them by not giving them a chance. Remember, Kintaro and Kahn are going to fight cheap with you and they're not going to give you much a chance to attack; so you have to play their own little cheap shot game back them first.
