game inspired by Big trouble in Little China possibly? alot of similarities between the two and the Btlc was made 6 years before mortal kombat was made....

I know what you're getting at, 18. :)
Another example would be watching Legend of Drunken Master with Jackie Chan. Check out the nighttime martial arts class in the courtyard. Those uniforms do look a helluva lot similar to Johnny Cage's outfit in the MK1 arcade.

Yes the game was inspired by Big Trouble In little China, easiest to spot is the guy that Rayden is based on. It is also partly based on Enter The Dragon.

What's the matter? You don't think it's funny?

Shang Tsung in this is like Mr. Han from Enter The Dragon and David Lo Pan from Big Trouble In Little China, tournament master and demon Sorcerer.
