Cinematography So Special but Tykwer never mentions?

I know nothing about Tykwer as a person, but i find it so strange that in the 2 commentaries, no one ever mentions the amazing cinematographer,or the composer.The very talented lighting person was mentioned a few times but for me, aside from the actors and the screenplay, the music and cinematography were incredibly important parts of the film experience. Tykwer frequently and openly admires his actors but why not his top tech people?
