Holy Crap this was funny

OMG, I just watched this movie for the first time yesterday and I laughed my ass off. What a gem. Did George Lucas ever make any comments about it?

reply

Yeah, I go to the same high school as where the director graduated and i think there is a story about Joe sending it to Lucas and he got a letter back or something. I'm not positive but i think i remember hearing that.

Did George ever give a comment on this film? I wonder if he found it as funny? He has a good sense of humor. Watch the documentaries on the two DVDs.

reply

Both George Lucas and Rick McCallum saw it; they thought it was hilarious. McCallum talked about it in a StarWars.com interview.

I just like the Jabba the Hutt reference...i can't help but laugh at that!

I know that he liked it, but I'm not sure exactly what he said about it.

I loved this film. I gave it a 10 out of 10.

And yes George Lucas himself liked it. He's quoted as having called it "very funny".

reply

Emmm..."Too much already have I said"...

*beep* out of me I laugh.

this was a very funny spoof. i enjoyed the ending the most. when the mother walks in and they both say "mom!", i was dying of laughter. and then to top it all off, the roommate comes in and talks about howard the duck. icing on the cake. really great short.

reply

What makes it so great, besides the fact that it's hilarious, is the love that went into it. It's obvious that the filmmaker really loves Lucas's early trilogy.
