hi, recently got day of the tentacle to run on xp but lost the handbook and cant work out which button to press to save the game, tried all the buttons but none seem 2 work, stupid question i know but wud appreciate an answer, cheers

On mine it's f5.

I'm pretty sure in ScummVM, F5 will do the trick. I'm pretty sure that's it, but I KNOW it's one of the F's.

I dont think the OP is using ScummVM. If he did, the yes F5 is the correct key. It's been so long since I played a scumm title in DOS mode that I cant remember how to save under that. If the OP of the thread ever comes back here, then I would recommend you do a google search for ScummVM and read up on it. It only takes a few minutes to setup and it takes care of all problems you might run into with trying to run soundblaster based games on XP dos emulation.

It is F5 on ScummVm because on the original games it was allways F5 on every Lucasarts game.
