great stuff...fav scare?

haha, i love this film...i bought it thinking it was gonna suck as i'd watched a couple of other films of the nu-image creature range and their were pretty f'n poor...

however, Tobe Hooper's name on the cover made me wanna check this and i was pleasently surprised, to think this was made by the same guy that did the texas chainsaw massacre is kinda weird, but still this was a fun, entertaining flick. The comedy in the film really works too, the Duncan character especially is excellent, his on-going problem with the bugs is great stuff.

as for scares, this was one of them jumpy fun type film, best of the bunch however was the dude who got chomped down on the pier, you can see whats gonna happen but it just happens and finishes so quickly it startles you, brilliant.

the scene with princess on the croc's head is a great lil scare too.

and the regurgitation of duncan at the end...well, genius!
