What is the actual Band in the movie?!?!

Looking everywhere... ok, so there's no Soundtrack, i can deal. But they don't even list the names of the songs / the bands / ANYTHING even on credits... kinda thought that was required or something. Great music, would like to hear more. If you even know of a band that has the same style leave a thread. I'll check 'em out

The band was called the "the Baby girls" in the "making of" documentary. If the movie was a success there was talk of them touring clubs as "the Blood Dolls" as far as I can see, there is no recording of the the songs outside of fullmoon studios. The songs in the movie were "kill Pussy Kill," "Pain," and "Goin Down" - they hint at there being at least 7 tracks (when Hyless screams "Play Number 7 YOU BITCHES!"). Happy to see some other fands of such a fantasticly awful - and yet beautiful - film.

So there isnt like any chances of obtaining those songs??? That sucks.

Wrong the guy didnt realy do his reasurch. Some of the song, Yeah they were never realeased. The band never went by the blood doll's the bands name is Girl Eats Boy they did more techno style stuff then anything. Last night i was looking around for them and i found "Kill Pussy Kill" right at the same moment as i click on the sample it was being played in the movie. Girl Eats Boy has made 2 CD's you can find them on amazon.com pritty easy. As well at they dont stop at playing song number 7 they flat out say play song number 10 in the movie. I was specificly looking for that song number 7 the bondage song, Unforchinitly no luck. So, Go find a Girl eats boy CD. I wish you luck i will be doing the same thing my self.

reply

I just bought the DVD and as an extra they have the video for the bondage song, Pain. It was the closest thing I could get to actually owning the song.

there ....suicide girls

Ok, the one guy is right- when i looked up "kill pussy kill", i found Girl eats boy, as well. a band by the name of Zombina and the Skeletones came up as well- though i'm not really sure if theyre connected as i was looking for "die baby die" at that point. (which just lead to a thousand hits of WASP...)Anyways this movie and "May" should definitely make soundtracks. Do you think fullmoon would make one if enough of us e-mailed them?

reply

i bin searching and all i found is a cd called girl eats boy
and its nothing like the songs in the film

reply

Hopfully. It's a good incentive for the band to continue making those fantastic songs...as there have been so many of us going all the way...and looking a non existing product...
If you start an Emial list (maybe contact the girls directly?), include me in !

Ive never heard of these bands!! When I first saw the movie I thought they were the nineties grunge band Drain - I saw them touring with Fear Factory - On closer observation I concluded that they were not Drain, but was sure that at least one of the members were from Drain....

After countlessly watching Blood Dolls over and over the list of songs is follows 1:Die Baby Die
2:Going Down or Down (note-couldn't tell which)
3:Kill Pussy KIll or Pussy Kill (see above note)
4:Drain
5:Love Doll(love is a razor)
6: Processional(Her comes the bride music)
7: P-A-I-N (Love is)

reply

I don't know the name of the band, but Yvette Lera, who played Razor Baby, has both her own web page (www.yvettelera.net) and can be found on MySpace under 'Blood Doll'.

Looks like some guy started posting the songs on YouTube roughly a week ago:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDZgwjZH-YY (Pain)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0xWj_qZtn0&feature=related (You're Going Down)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjpQhfIWbGw&feature=related (Oblivion)

Hope this satisfies you enough.

Three of the songs are available on a CD set from Full Moon (the makers of the movie) called "Full Moon Archive Music Collection" - another of the songs is either by the band Girl Eats Boy or was possibly the singers playing their song, "Kill Pussy Kill."
