I thought this movie was really cute, had some good laughs. The funniest part to me was when Kris goes into the indian grocery store to get the stuff for dinner. The strange looking guy behind the counter kept ringing things up over and over again, and the lady starts smacking him with some veggies. That had me cracking up. Anyways, what part had you laughing?
shareyeah excuse me where is the naan? his pronounciation is funny. yes that was a funny part indeed. i also liked the scene with alladin in the classroom. people still get confused!

yah huh the movie is funny!! its cool how these actors in the movie have moved up! i think the most successful peeps out of american desi are kal penn & deep katre. they moved on to other movies and even broadway shows(deep). kal is gr8!

yea this is definitely my favorite indian-american movie ever. though i do think people who are indian, or desi in general, will like the movie more than those who arent
sharei know! its jus all the stuff the ppl in the movie went thru is fo real!! more desis would understand it and appreciate it. im jus sayin....its stilll a great movie. i ve seen deep [krishna aka kris] in bombay dreams. he was a baddie and he did really good! ok very random!! 8)

Lol yea i saw it in NYC too. I was lucky enough to have a connection on "the inside" lol so yea i was able to get some pretty decent seats.
shareI loved the sceen where Kris was trying to watch the Indian movies. "hey,they havent broke into song in 10 minutes. Oh there they go! Good. I was getting worried!" and "I've seen better storylines in porno movies!"
I know most people probably hated this guy, but I loved the Indian guy who "acted black": "You are opressed!" Practically everything that guy did was hysterical. When he started popping up naked I just about wet my pants.
And the guy with all the tins full of Indian food! "No wonder there are people starving in India. you've got all the food!"
The teacher with his fly open............... ....
